Social Media Content:
PBS Community
During my internship at PBS, I ideated and wrote nearly 100 posts for their YouTube Community Tab. These posts are served up to PBS' 1.1 million YouTube subscribers, serving as a potent promotional tool for the organization. As you can see, they are as diverse as the content they're intended to promote; some are important announcements about PBS shows, some are "fun facts" from PBS programming, some are community polls, and some are just plain fun content inspired by PBS shows.
Because these posts reach so many fans, even the most straightforward meme has to be carefully researched and vetted. I conducted audience analysis and competitor research to hone in on the best possible "voice." I also watched and studied all the content I wrote to ensure maximum factual accuracy for my posts. Before posting, I consulted across multiple PBS teams to ensure all my images were vetted, my wording was approved, and my facts were correct.
Writing these posts was an immensely pleasurable creative challenge, and it has been great fun seeing them published.
